Location: Crater Lake National Park
This image was captured during a weekend of night shooting at Crater Lake National Park. It was my last night in the park and I wanted to capture a shot of the celestial equator, which is where you’ll see the star trails curving in opposite directions on either side of said equator. I had spent most of the night shooting other images so knowing the sun would be rising in a couple hours, I thought this would also be a perfect opportunity to try and capture the transition from night into sunrise. I’m extremely excited with the end result and happy to know the lack of sleep that night/day was completely worth it.
Unless requested otherwise, each print is printed on lustre paper with a 1-2″ white border. The white border is part of the print size so the actual image size will be slightly smaller. Each print will include a signature in the bottom right corner and a title in the bottom left corner both on the white border just under the image. If you prefer no signature and title on the front of the print, want a borderless print, or a different paper type just let me know in the order notes.
