Location: Crater Lake National Park
This image is from a weekend trip I took to Crater Lake with the sole purpose of capturing some star trail photos. This capture above Wizard Island was the first shot I took on my first night. I had arrived shortly before sunset and scouted around for a good location where I could get the lake and the North Star (the center of the star trails) in one frame. This location had the good fortune of being somewhat close to the road so after I dialed in the camera I was able go back to the car to get a few hours of sleep while the Earth continued its slow spin.
Unless requested otherwise, each print is printed on lustre paper with a 1-2″ white border. The white border is part of the print size so the actual image size will be slightly smaller. Each print will include a signature in the bottom right corner and a title in the bottom left corner both on the white border just under the image. If you prefer no signature and title on the front of the print, want a borderless print, or a different paper type just let me know in the order notes.
